With an FAA CFI(A) license you will be able to teach FAA PPL(A) and CPL(A). With an FAA CFII(A) license, you will be allowed to teach FAA IR(A). This path is ideal for building flight hours while gaining professional experience.
You must demonstrate knowledge appropriate to the privileges of a CFI/CFII holder. This involves passing 2 written tests at an FAA approved testing center with a minimum score of 70%.
